While state and local government support the Australian Inland Botanic Gardens, they do not fund or administer them directly.

Almost uniquely for an Australian botanic garden, the Australian Inland Botanic Gardens are owned and managed by the Sunraysia community.

Because development is early phases, we don’t yet charge admission, although we welcome small donations. We welcome private and corporate donors – if you, or your company, are interested in helping, contact:

While we have a small core of permanent staff, we also receive invaluable help for special projects, or routine tasks like manning the visitor’s centre. We have around 400 members, and around 60 of them are actively involved in our Friends of the Gardens program, established in 1989.
